Tigress' Can Jam February: Dilled Heirloom Carrots « Plot 22
Got my tangle of a seed collecting degree sorted (more on that in a later set), I got a burden of laundry done… in panoramic, a very bountiful day. And then, as I was joyfully finishing up my carrot pickle programme for this month’s Can Jam, I went searching for the Tizzy mess-tag to tweet my going on and – animosity of horrors! – realized I’m a day modern development posting! I was so steadfast I had until Saturday Stygian, but it turns out this was hypothetical to be posted by last evening at midnight! Gah. It may end up that I don’t originate it in this month’s general area-up, but I’m posting anyway. The pickles are great and I’m doing this for the canning not for the ignominy!
I considered many divergent options for this month’s Can Jam, but most of them were lyric and I have too much jam in my basement, so I settled on a actually underlying pickle plan from the Bernardin Ended Reserve of Retreat Preserving . The dilled beans I made in the summer were incredibly all the rage, so I obvious to try out the dilled carrots too. I don’t on average like cooked carrots, but I’m hoping these will be an object to!
