My Hotpoint refrigerator is making a loud buzzing noise when the ccoling cycle begins. Any ideas??

Two days ago, my Hotpoint refrigerator began making a noisy buzzing noise - similar to a hockey buzzer - when the cooling circle begins. It lasts about 3 to 4 seconds and then quits. The refrigerator and freezer are cooling subtle. What could it be?

I dire keep from diagnosing my fridge difficult. The temperature will unsteadiness and will get violent enough to mollify the ice in the icebox. Sometimes my ice cream is plush and sometimes its determinedly (like it should be). This happens on both sides, the freezer and the fridge side. Please facilitate with some suggestions.
