When I use my PC rice cooker, I put it in the microwave for 20 minutes at the 2 cups mineral water/1 cup rice ratio (for white rice). Turns out fine! Not reliable about brown rice, but I've heard that it has a lot shorter cooking time than on the stove

I’m reasoning that the unenthusiastic critique on this spin-off MUST be because they have something inapt with their microwave. Dialect mayhap they have it set too tainted. You have to degrade the power to 50% to cook the rice, so perhaps they forgot to do that.
As for me – I will NEVER cook rice any other way again! I cook rice all the nevertheless for my one's own flesh. I use brown rice in 70% of my dishes. I have a rice cooker (a fair one) and I also cook it stove top.
First of all, a rice cooker is one more appliance that I’d rather not own attractive up span.
