can I change from hot water heating system (oil) to Gas using my radiators & baseboard heating? Not steam hea

I have an old 2 kindred house w/ oil heated furnace (via hot Water) & now must purchase a new one. I do not be sure whom to trust. I'm widdowed & will be selling within 2 years. Tax man said go for gas but i'm not certain it'd be best for me
