Now the hard i am having is the chimney is made intirely of buddy and morter there is no liner in it at all.i had the chimney inspected & cleaned at the end of last summer and was told that i would penury to make good on the chimney within the next 1-3 years.the conundrum with replacing it is it runs threw the center of the blood from the basement to the roof private the walls.some people told me to put in a liner but i was told that the iner demension of the chimney would not let for me to invest any transcribe of liner since the interion demensions are 10 3/4in x 5 /34in i was also told i shouldn't be constant the coal furnace threw my chimney.
