sliding glass door fan?

i testify iv seen one a sliding glass door fan that fits in the tracks and the door locks to it while its locked to the door frame. im reasoning it was a column fan or something along those lines. could it even have been an air conditioner?? it was no

This sounds kindly of familiar, but it's been a while since I saw an ad for [what I think could be] this. Not sure, but it mat have been in a mail-catalog, like Walter Drake, Harriet Carter, etc. Otherwise, I could find nothing by googling it.

Hi! I decent moved to a new house, and in my bedroom, the closet door frame and the fan frame are a hideous gold-ish distort. My mother says I wont be able to change the doors or the fan for now.
