I have everything off up to the flush mount. And it will not run across down. No screws or bolts. What is holding it up there?
You presumably have a flush mount fan with a trim ring that is covering up the screws that are holding the fan to the ceiling. Carefully pry at the rim of the ring and it should "pop" off exposing the screws.
