Ceiling fan globe cracked in place, don't know why.?

I'm selling my native and doing repairs, and the globe for an older ceiling fan was taken down and got splintered.

I thought I'd run down to Lowe's and get a new one, only to find out they don't sell just the large choose globes anymore.

You're not making much quick-wittedness here. Most light-kits have either two screws on the inside or three on the outside that cement it to the bottom of the ceiling fan.

crafty solution to covering a ceiling fan for dimming the light?

At my treatment site we have about 8 ceiling fans with 4 globe style lights on each fan. There are no dimmers on the fan lights, so I am contemplative about putting some type of material over the lights to dim them. Do you think that would look secure?

Well putting something "ON" the globes in not normally a good idea (fire hazard and all) plus anything loose can get grabbed by the fan. I would indicate trying different lightbulbs. You can start by using belittle wattage bulbs, and even

I installed a ceiling fan in a bedroom where there was nothing. I ran a power stroke to the ceiling from the fan to a vocation that I saw that seemed to be hot and unswitched. I then found out that it was a rechannel for an egress in the fence at the bowl over. So that egress is powered by a lineage that is run along the parquet.
