i have a hanging gas furnace that has 2/12 wire coming from the back how do you hook that to a thermostat?

i don't see any dwelling for a small thermostat to be wired when i place power on the wires the furnace runs constatl both fan and burner how do i wire it to power temp properly

I would speak to the manufacturer of the furnace. Buy the correct thermostat and wire it the way the furnace was designed and UL listed. The refractory with simply putting a line thermostat into the 12-2 give is that the thermostat would shut down the
