my honeywell furnace electric ignites but the gas does not start a minutes later the fan turns on but no heat?

the electric ignitor glows but i have no fervidness flames in my furnace. minutes later the fan turns on blowing reserved air. what am i looking at for repair options if this isnt something i can fix on my own?
