I am looking to by a Lasko break heater. Is Lasko a brand name and is it a good brand?

I have had earmark of bad luck with Lasko. The thermostat is of poor quality, the unit makes growth noises as it heats and cools, (drives me nuts!), and they are very stuffy.

I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!
