Can i replace a Myson MPE322 three port valve with one from a different manufacturer?

The boiler is the shameful Potterton Suprima - can i use an alternative valve e.g. Honeywell?

Yes any appear return 3 port valve will replace the Myson, just win sure that you get a mid position version and fit it the right way round!

Ive checked the pipes equitable below the boiler and theres no valve to turn which you would usually find to do the job

The sway is pretty much 0 and it needs to increase to just above 0.1
