How good are Bradford White oil fired hot water tanks?

I currently have a Bock oil fired hot water heater, but it is 30 years old and on borrowed continuously. I want to stay with an oil fired unit, but I was wondering how good the Bradford Pasty oil fired heaters are. I read they have a six warranty on the


Cant bring in you on prices but am familiar with Bradford White water heaters. they are excellant, have a company warranty and will last for years.
Is 32 Gallon sized correct for your family. BW also makes 40 gallon sizes

Can you replace the tank only on an oil fired hot water heater and re-use the burner?

I have a 10 yr old oil-fired hot water heater that has started to leak from the top. I have been told I neediness to replace the whole thing, but it seems to me you should be able to re-use the burner since it is still good and repay only the tank itself.


Yes it can be done, not positive about where to buy tank separate though. I've worked with them and have interchanged parts without disability.

I'm having discommode solving a pretty pickle with a residental oil fired boiler. The family water temperature from the constituent varies between 80 deg. F and 130 deg. F. I installed a Watts 1170 Thermostatic mixing valve to hamper scalding and it is set for 110 deg. F absolve. The enigma is that if the boiler water temperature drops below180 deg. F, the forth temperature for house-broken water (both through the Thermostatic mixing valve and through a by-archaic around the Thermo valve) drops below 100 deg. F. By the on occasion the burner kicks on (at 165 deg. F), the home water temp is all the way down to 80 deg. That's too unfriendly. the boiler is a Slantfin Autonomy II hot water boiler with LW-5 tankless water heater. The boiler is outfitted with a Honeywell L8124 Aquastat. Currently, the aquastat is set for 165 Deg.F (low limit), 185 Deg. F (dear limit) with a differential environment of 15 Deg. F.
