What kind of motor would a fan have?

A personal table fan I connote.
I know it has an electrical motor. But what kind?
Induction motor? DC generator or something?

Mine has an electromagnet and this dollop cylindrical round thingy that rotates. Can you also tell

normally fans have a single phase induction motor.. Thats because we get only unmarried phase supplies in our homes. It is started by a capacitor because a 1-configuration cant produce a torque on its one, so a phase difference is created by the capacitor.
