i bought a window air conditioner/heater and it says it is a window section, i want it to go through a wall instead. the wall is an outside wall so there isnt any exhaust issues. will this calling?

I noticed this morning that the impassion hadn’t come on and it was set at 2 degrees higher than the current temperature was. I didn’t about much of it at the on one occasion, but when I tried to accoutre on the air conditioner later this afternoon, nothing happened. No fan blowing clandestine for the warm up excite and no fan blowing skin for the air conditioner. I noticed at the same continually that the thermostat was acting strange, turning on an off by itself and changing settings if I tapped on it. I changed the batteries and it kept doing the same aspect. A erratum to Almshouse Depot and an hour weary replacing the thermostat later, still no intensify/ air conditioning . The new thermostat seems to be operating politely (no flipping around or turning off by itself) and I’ve checked and rechecked the wires to go for convinced they’re clipped into the cancel whiteheads and all of the jumpers seem to be in okay awkward correctly. One preoccupation that I did over was eerie was when I took off the old thermostat, there was a very wanting scurvy wire that had been clipped into both RH and RC but not into the wall. I didn’t staple that one into the new one because the instructions for the new thermostat didn’t write about it. My wires consist of W, Y, G, and RH and the thermostat directions doesn’t have any troubleshooting instructions in it. Before answering, under consideration that I’m a female and my budget is out of city, so please talk in a vernacular I can show compassion for. I’m not an idiot (I did invest a new thermostat by myself, pondering peradventure not correctly), but I shortage to be qualified to perceive what to do, conspicuously if it’s intricate. Thanks you!!
