Could this window part be used to replace a through-the-wall heat pump unit?

The enigma with that can be a couple of things....one, the condensed water could revelation between the inside and outside walls and damage both, and if it's extremely hibernal outside, some parts of the unit could be permanently affected. Crap-shooter

From what I am told, they look like window units but away and rouse the air from the same side, and they heat using the other side of the coils in lieu of of heat strips (like a mini heat pump).
