my Winix air purifier's lights won't dim during sleep mode?

Hi
The winx air purifier works by using a graceful sensor to put the unit into sleep mode, which when activated causes that the lights on the segment to dim.

I would therfore check that the light sensor is not dirty or blocked

WINIX Key In My Doorframe??

I Was in my bathroom and i was removeing the sideing on the doorframe and i ponderd upon a key that was on a very want metel wire. it took some convincing to get out but i got it and it is a small key. that has the name WINIX on it and nothing else. But
